James Newton Chadwick is an English contemporary folk singer-songwriter. In 2006 he emerged onto the national scene with a place in the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Awards finals. Following this he collaborated with Turner Prize-nominated visual artist David Shrigley on a number of songs, one of which was released on the TOMLAB compilation album Worried Noodles. Among songs from David Byrne, Hot Chip and Franz Ferdinand, James’s contribution was described by the Sunday Times as ‘one of the tasiest tracks’.
